Colleen is a registered and licensed Speech and Language Pathologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She is lymphedema certified (LLCC) and specializes in head and neck lymphedema
using lymphatic drainage therapy (LDT). She has completed supplemental studies in psychology,
linguistics, sensory integration (theory and treatment), oral-motor/swallowing and feeding therapy, lymph drainage therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, esoteric healing and Qi Gong.
Colleen has provided her services in a variety of settings including school (direct and consultative), residential facilities, outpatient clinics, home care and long-term care facilities. Areas that are of specific interest include working with individuals who have severe communication and swallowing problems due to general oral motor weakness or dysfunction and head and neck cancer and/or lymphedema. |
