At Three Rivers clinic we are always looking for ways to serve you better. Our practitioners Vicky Radel R.N., L.Ac. and Karen Nielson L.Ac. are trained in a new and exciting protocol called 3D Energetics. This new protocol dovetails beautifully into our Traditional Chinese Medicine practice and then takes it one step further. It utilizes the energetic principles of Applied Kinesiology and homeopathy, blended with an understanding of the meridian systems of the body, to give us new tools to address broad issues that affect our health, including toxicity, allergies and sensitivities, hormonal imbalances, and emotional issues. In addition to being a great tool to address health problems, it also provides an opportunity for preventive health care by bringing the body into optimum energetic balance. In utilizing this protocol, we begin by assessing the stressors on your system. We test the body using Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) to evaluate the level of energetic toxicity in the body, the meridian blockage and inflammation or energy congestion, as well as the meridian weakness and energetic organ stress. In your initial visit we will quantify these aspects using three numerical scores to understand the magnitude of toxic interference and for use as a baseline to evaluate your progress at a later date.

We live in a toxic world. In the last several decades, our food supply, drinking water, air, and soil have become increasingly contaminated with toxic chemicals. Never before has the human body been presented with such a heavy burden of foreign substances to metabolize and eliminate. When we combine that with lifestyle stressors and unhealthy habits, the body becomes taxed beyond its natural capacities of detoxification and elimination. Often this toxicity is expressed in symptoms such as headache, joint pain or stiffness, allergies or sensitivities, asthma, fatigue, sinus congestion or inflammation, hair loss, susceptibility to colds or flu, or other more serious autoimmune responses.

As you can see, these broad-ranging symptoms are common indicators of other problems. In order to get a clearer picture of the causal factor in the body's imbalance, we must first eliminate the toxic factors that are stressing the body. Imagine your body as a bucket of water. Toxicity has made the water so dirty that we are not able to see through to anything that may be causing symptoms. With the elimination of toxins, the water in the bucket becomes clear and now it is possible to see what is REALLY going on at a deeper level; what is the true cause of your symptomatology. Sometimes this process of detoxification eliminates the original symptoms, as your body is then able to function optimally without the burden of toxicity.

Many of you have probably seen or heard of various detox remedies or diets as there are a multitude of them out there. How do you choose what is right for you? The beauty of the 3D Energetics system is that we can tailor the detox program to fit your individual needs. The program uses the broad line of Apex Energetics products which are primarily homeopathic in nature. We use Applied Kinesiology to test specific remedies to bring your toxicity and organ stress scores back to zero. You take these homeopathic remedies over two to four weeks and then come back in and retest. When the scores are down to zero we test for the next level, getting the body ever closer to it's optimum state of health. Once we have "cleared the water" with an initial round of detoxifying we can further investigate the impact of other health factors including emotions, hormonal imbalance, allergies or sensitivities, and gastrointestinal function. These issues are addressed using Applied Kinesiology, homeopathic or herbal products, and energetic treatment techniques.

This process is like peeling an onion to get at the various layers of energetic imbalance and is often spread out over a period of months. We have a 3D Energetics computer program that helps us chart your progress and outline the remedies and strategies. Although this is not Traditional Chinese Medicine per se, the energetic concepts overlap significantly and they complement one another very well.
